Here's an old photo of my circles - barely a week in. I started November 4 and have twenty-four finished. More are cut, ready to sew as we travel.

Isn't it a pain when technology doesn't work as it's meant to? I hope you get sorted out without too much trouble (and expense). In the meantime it's fun to get a peek at your first circles. Are the mostly blue backgrounds deliberate or a coincidence? Either way, I like them.
That's lovely! I love the background, it looks very peaceful.
Ah, technology!
Your circles look wonderful - look forward to seeing more in due course.
These are as gorgeous as I anticipated Ann and 24 must look wonderful together. I hope you can get the technology sorted soon. In the mean time enjoy some relaxing stitching on your travels.
Happy travels with your circles of color. These are so pretty and restful backgrounds really accentuate the circle colors and fabric patterns.
Love your colorful circles.
I am a total loss at technology issues... love the circles and that you pieced some and that you are actually doing them I'm still in the thinking about it stage.
You have some pretty backgrounds there, Ann! What size are your circles? They look a little smaller than most to me.
It's amazing how bereft I feel. I pulled some remnants that could make 4.5" squares and this was the first set. Smaller tenants made the circles. I'll probably change backgrounds as this develops.
Thanks, Maryse. I don't have enough for any single background. It will be interesting.
Thanks, Viv. There are so few in this photo but it's the only
One I have currently.
Thanks, Stephie. It is fun to see while we travel and wait in departure lounges. Your circles are still my favorites. They have such depth- like a Russian novel:-)
Thanks. It's always helpful to reflect on process photos, isn't it?
Thanks, Doris. Barely a beginning.
It's fun to mix single fabric and pieced circles. There will be changes as it develops. I can already feel the urge to diverge!
The contrast makes the circles look as though they are floating. Looking good.
I'm not quite sure, Monica. The backgrounds are 4.5". I think the circles are 3-3.5". I'll check when I find a ruler :-)
Isn't it interesting how many variations people come up with? Like fingerprints, we are all unique.
More unique circles! I love just looking at the different fabrics everyone chooses. Good luck with the laptop and camera. My old antique XP laptop was about ready to crap out so I'm in the process of moving all files over to my new Windows 10. I have LOTS of genealogy and picture files...maybe too many.
Oh, I guess the prints are just large. It's all very fresh and nice!
Everyone picks such different fabrics and makes circles in unique ways. I wouldn't have thought we'd all be so different. It certainly is fun to see them, isn't it? My computer isn't that old but the camera is. It makes me appreciate them though when I've had to do without them for these last few weeks.
Hope your technology problems are resolved Ann, love the soft blue backgrounds & colourful circles :)
I'm looking forward to getting things back soon. Thanks, Gisele. I'm going to dig some more soft blues out.
These are great - I really enjoy seeing the variety of ideas and fabric choices for these circles.
Everyone one has such unique ideas, don't they!
